Allan Parker, the president of the Texas-based Justice Foundation, joined the Family Research Council’s “Washington Watch” program last week to promote a petition he’s circulating urging the Supreme Court to “reverse, cancel, overturn and annul” the abortion rights decisions Roe v. Wade, Doe v. Bolton and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. Parker told the program’s guest host, Eben Fowler, that he was hoping for at least a million and maybe even five million signatures on the petition and was given hope by the fact that God intervened in American history to elect Trump to the presidency. “I think we’re actually seeing God intervene in America’s history again through the election of Donald Trump and the change on the Supreme Court that we are going to see and we are seeing,” he said.
Parker continued, “Because, the reason for believing in such a future is very simple. If you just take a look at the past and everything that’s happened in the past, it’s clear that there are several very distinct paths we can choose between when it comes to determining where this country will go in the future. For instance, if you want to talk about why Donald Trump is going to put an end to abortion in this country, it’s very easy to understand that. That reason is because God not only intervened in America’s history by helping him become president, but also I believe there was another equally significant intervention before that. That intervention was when God prevented Donald Trump’s mother from having an abortion, because He knew Trump would prove to be a vital instrument in changing this country for the better.”
“Therefore, God not only helped Donald Trump become President of the United States, but he also saved his life many years before,” Parker added. “That’s two occasions in which God intervened and interfered with the future of this country, and we need to ask ourselves why that happened. For me, at least, the reason is obvious: God wanted to make sure abortion is banned in America. As a matter of fact, the reason why Donald Trump survived his mother’s attempted abortion in the first place was because God wanted him to become president some day and put a stop to it once and for all. And now that time has come. Just like Donald Trump is on a mission to stop the murder of millions of unborn, innocent babies throughout the country, I am also on a mission to help him achieve that goal as soon as possible, which is what my petition is all about.”
“The main thing many of us still need to learn is that God doesn’t make mistakes; it’s just that sometimes it looks to us like he does. That’s because the path to justice and truth doesn’t always follow a straight line. By the way, that’s also why there’s a saying that goes, ‘God works in mysterious ways.’ So, while many Americans still oppose Trump’s presidency because of all the controversial things that he keeps saying and doing, at the end of the day he is – or rather, he has to be – the right choice because God doesn’t just intervene for anyone. We have to believe Trump was sent to this earth to save millions of American lives and not only that; it is up to each and every one of us to help him on his mission to the best of our abilities. Otherwise, we’ll all end up going to the man below instead of the man above when our time comes,” Parker concluded.
